NPP-NDC deadly clash at Mamobi: Police place GH₵20,000 bounty on ‘gunman’ 

The Ghana Police Service has slapped a twenty thousand cedis for Fatau Motorway, wanted in respect of deadly clashes at Mamobi on October 13, 2024. 

In a statement issued on October 21, 2024; the police said it is still on manhunt for Motorway. 

“The Police are appealing to the public to support police intelligence-led efforts by providing information that could lead to his arrest. 

“A reward of Twenty Thousand Cedis (GH₵20,000.00) is being offered for anyone who provides credible information leading to his arrest,” the statement concluded.

One person was confirmed death while others sustained injuries during a clash between New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters during a health walk on October 13.

Mamobi is in the Ayawaso North Constituency whose current Member of Parliament is Yusiff Jajah.
