Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia met with leadership of the Ghana Catholic Bishops Conference on November 12, 2024.
The meeting was part of his Ashanti Regional tour which is currently ongoing. In a post on his Facebook page, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer shared a series of photos of his engagement with the top clergymen.
“This afternoon I had the honour of interacting with the Ghana Catholic Bishops Conference, led by its President, Most Rev Dr Matthew Kwasi Gyamfi at the Pope John Paul Formation Centre, Ofoase Kokoben in the Ashanti Region.
“I am grateful for the open, frank and insightful discussions on important national issues, including the December 7 polls and the moral fibre of our society. I am particularly grateful for the fatherly advice. May God bless us all,” his post added.
Bawumia was accompanied by sitting MPs, national and regional executives of the party and other top functionaries.
