PHOTOS: Kudus, Fatawu, others head to Angola for AFCON qualifier

A contingent of Black Stars players and technical team members have left Accra for Luanda where they will take on Angola in 2025 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) shared photos of the team leaving the Accra City hotel where they have been lodging as they headed to the airport for their flight.

Among the players whose photos were shared in the post were Mohammed Kudus of West Ham and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku of Leicester City.

Head coach Otto Addo named his squad for the double-header on Thursday, November 7, 2024, the former Ghana international named a 25-man squad that contained three players from the Ghana Premier League.

Jordan Ayew will captain the side for the games, he will replace Mohammed Kudus who skippered the side in the Sudan double header.
