Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed, the Member of Parliament for Tamale Central and Minister for Environment, Science and Technology has been awarded a doctorate degree from the University of Ghana (UG), Legon.
This followed the successful defense of his thesis with the Department of Political Science. His thesis title was: The Committee System of the Parliament of Ghana’s Fourth Republic: An Assessment.
He shared photos from his recent graduation ceremony held on February 11, 2025 at the Great Hall of the university.
The MP was draped in academic regalia with his wife at the event.
Before acquiring the Doctorate Degree, Hon. Murtala Mohammed already had a Master’s Degree in Development Planning and International Relations and Diplomacy from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and the University of Ghana respectively.
He also studied law at the Mountcrest University.
