A Muslim student, Al-Waasiu Abubakari, has been celebrated by the University of Ghana during its graduation ceremony held on February 20, 2024.
Abubakari was selected as the valedictorian for the second session of graduation events for the ππ¨π₯π₯ππ π π¨π πππ¬π’π ππ§π ππ©π©π₯π’ππ πππ’ππ§πππ¬ (CBAS). He graduated with First Class Honours in Computer Engineering, achieving an impressive FGPA of 3.97.
The UG’s Facebook post traced Al-Waasiu’s academic strides to his days as a contestant in the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) to earning top honours in his region.
“A true inspiration, Al-Waasiuβs story reflects hard work, adaptability and a commitment to excellence. Congratulations!” the post read.
