Ghana’s ambassador to Turkey attends MÜSİAD meeting in Istanbul

Ghana’s Ambassador to Turkey, Sheikh Abdul Nasir-Deen participated in a meeting of top African diplomats and ambassadors in Istanbul.

In a post on his Facebook timeline dated October 16, the ambassador noted that the meeting was hosted by MÜSİAD, which stands for Müstakil Sanayici ve İşadamları Derneği (Independent Industrialists and Businessmen’s Association), a non-governmental organization founded in Istanbul in 1990.

“I had the distinct honor of attending the Africa Ministers and Diplomatic Corps Reception, hosted by MÜSİAD at their headquarters yesterday in Istanbul.

“This important gathering brought together distinguished Ambassadors, Ministers, and representatives from across the African continent and Türkiye to strengthen dialogue, explore new areas of partnership, and reaffirm shared commitment to mutual growth and cooperation.
In my capacity as the Ambassador of the Republic of Ghana to the Republic of Türkiye, it was both a privilege and a responsibility to represent our great nation Ghana at such a meaningful event that continues to foster bridges between Africa and Türkiye.

“I want to take the opportunity to extend gratitude to H.E. John Dramani Mahama, whose exemplary leadership to Ghana’s global image continue to inspire our diplomatic engagements and strengthen our mission’s resolve to deepen bilateral and multilateral relations,” his post concluded.
