Ghana and Saudi Arabia on October 20, 2025 signed a major agreement in the presence of two ministers of state, Muntaka Mohammed Mubarak, Interior Minister and Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Foreign Affairs Minister.
According to information available to iqratoday.com, the General Cooperation Agreement is aimed at deepening longstanding ties between the two countries.
The agreement, signed by Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa (MP) and H.E. Eng. Waleed El-Khereiji, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, provides a framework to enhance bilateral cooperation between our two nations.
Before the signing, the Saudi delegation paid a courtesy call on President Mahama, where both countries reaffirmed their shared commitment to peace, security, and development.
This milestone marks yet another step forward in promoting mutual growth, regional stability, and lasting friendship between Ghana and Saudi Arabia.
