Mahama at 67: President visits Mamobi Poly on birthday

The Mamobi Polyclinic was one of two medical facilities President John Dramani Mahama visited on his 67th birthday.

The other facility being the Ledzokuku-Krowor Municipal Assembly (LEKMA) Hospital located at Teshie-Nungua.

In a November 29 post on Facebook, the president  also shared photos of his visit to the respective hospitals, he was in the company of the First Lady, Lordina Mahama, some staff from his office and his Aide de Camp.

His post on Facebook read: “Thank you all for the best wishes, prayers, your birthday greetings and cards, and the lovely flowers from Lordina and many Ghanaians. I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate my 67th birthday than spending it with some of our young citizens on admission in the hospital.

“Lordina and I visited the children’s wards at LEKMA Hospital and Maamobi Polyclinic. We brought along some items and a token for the children and their parents. Seeing the smiles on their little faces reminded me of why the #ResettingGhana must succeed to build a Ghana where every child has access to quality healthcare and the opportunity to thrive.

“I also want to thank the incredible medical staff at both facilities. You are the ones who make the real difference in the lives of these children and their families.”
