17 minutes into January 7, 2025; was the time Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia chose to post his final message as the Second Gentleman of the land as he and his boss Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo prepared to hand over power.
“Thank you, all Ghanaians, for all the support you gave me as Vice President of the Republic from 2017-2025. God bless our homeland Ghana,” the message read.
The message was accompanied by an artwork that bore the same message with the official portrait of the Vice President.
Bawumia lost the 2024 presidential elections to President-Elect John Dramani Mahama, whose swearing in along with his Vice President, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang is slated for later today at the Black Stars Square in Accra.
