Health Minister Kwabena Mintah Akandoh and Tamale South MP, Alhassan Suhuyini, on Tuesday, April 21 confronted some Tamale Teaching Hospital staff over a patient’s death, demanding answers from the Accident and Emergency unit.
The MP had accompanied the minister on an unannounced visit of the facility following online protests over the Easter holidays about the death of a patient.
The Minister and MP were captured in a video in a heated argument with he head of the Accident and Emergency Unit over a comment the staff made, which they found as insensitive.
