Minister of Education, Haruna Iddrisu, graced the 65th Anniversary of Ghana Secondary School (Ghanasco) which took place on May 24, 2025.
He was joined by First Lady Lordina Mahama who was also a guest of honour at the anniversary celebration. The theme of the event was Ghanasco @ 65: A Legacy of Excellence, Inspiring Future Generations, which according to the minister was “a powerful reminder of the institution’s enduring impact.”
“This occasion provided a valuable opportunity for us to reflect on Ghanasco’s achievements and consider how we can further enhance its legacy. I would like to extend my gratitude to all alumni, as well as the chiefs, imams, opinion leaders, fellow ministers, and members of parliament who attended. Your engagement is crucial as we collectively strive to inspire and empower future generations,” Haruna wrote in a May 25 social media post.
