Sheikh Yasir Qadhi, a respected Muslim cleric in the United States, has given reasons why US Vice President Kamala lost the November 5 presidential election to Donald Trump.
Harris replaced her boss, Joe Biden, who was forced out of the race due to health concerns after a poor debate showing against Trump months back.
Qadhi posted his analysis on why Harris and the Democratic Party lost the polls putting it down to the Biden government’s position on the Israeli war on Gaza.
“The Democrats lost because they supported the genocide in Gaza. While it wasn’t the only factor, it *was* a primary factor,” he stated.
He took a shot at the newly elected president, former president Donald Trump, stating: “A convicted felon – a narcissistic bombastic egotistical self-obsessed lying corrupt bankrupt tycoon widely despised by many – still won by a veritable landslide, even amongst the demographics that he publicly mocked and put down, not because he was the better of the two candidates, but because the other candidate had the blood of hundreds of thousands of innocent people dripping from their hands.
“One prays that the Republican party, despite all of its flaws, understands the role that the genocide played in the downfall of their opponents, and, for the sake of humanity or morals, or even for their own selfish greed to remain in power, we pray they take decisive steps to end the American-sponsored genocide. All other issues, as important as they may be, pale in comparison to the depravity that is taking place in Gaza,” he concluded.
