LIST: 8 Muslims called up for Black Stars 2025 AFCON qualifiers

Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has named his squad for upcoming 2025 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Angola and Niger.

At a press conference in Accra today (Thursday, November 7, 2024), the former Ghana international named a 25-man squad that contained three players from the Ghana Premier League.

Captain Thomas Partey, who missed the two games against Sudan last month was not called up. Another major announcement by Addo was that Jordan Ayew will captain the side for the games, he will replace Mohammed Kudus who skippered the side in the Sudan double header.
