English Premier League side, West Ham United have reacted to the November 7 Black Stars call up for their star player, Mohammed Kudus.
“Mo has been selected for Ghana’s 2025 AFCON qualifiers against Angola and Niger,” the club posted on X (formerly Twitter) with a photo of Kudus draped with a Ghana flag.
The photo also had information on the fixtures the Black Stars are scheduled to play. A Friday November 15 clash against Angola at 7pm and a Monday November 18 clash against Niger.
Ghana coach Otto Addo on November 7 called up 25 players for the double header. Kudus is one of eight Muslim players called up. He has, however, been stripped of the captaincy which he had in the last two games. The new captain of the side is Jordan Ayew.
Ghana could still fail to qualify for the AFCON if they win their two matches except other group members get bad results.
