Habiba Sinare Akeju, film producer, actress and public health specialist has shared a post on having faith in Allah and taming one’s fears.
She made the post on her social media handles, X (formerly Twitter) and Facebook (November 15). The post was accompanied by photos of her in the first class section of a flight.
“So, let go of the fear. Walk through life with confidence, knowing that the One who never sleeps is managing your affairs. Replace your doubts with faith and let your reliance on Allah guide your every step,” her post read in part.

Do you still believe in your God and still fear instead of having faith?
As a Muslim, my belief in Allah goes hand in hand with unwavering trust in His plans. Fear often arises from uncertainty, but I always ask myself how can I be uncertain when the Creator of the heavens and the earth holds my life in His hands?
Allah reminds me in my Qur’an: “And whoever relies upon Allah, then He is sufficient for him.” (Qur’an 65:3). This is a promise, not a suggestion. This always assured me that placing my trust in Him is enough to navigate any trial, overcome any obstacle, and secure my present and future.
When you truly give your affairs to the Almighty, you are declaring your faith in His wisdom, His mercy, and His power. Fear has no place in a heart filled with tawakkul (trust). Instead, it is replaced by peace, because you know that whatever comes your way is part of His divine plan, crafted with love and precision.
So, let go of the fear. Walk through life with confidence, knowing that the One who never sleeps is managing your affairs. Replace your doubts with faith and let your reliance on Allah guide your every step.
