Haniya ‘Akuapem Poloo’ announces opening of Mudarab Ventures

Akuapem Poloo known in real life as Rosemond Alade Brown and also by her Muslim name Haniyah, has started a new business venture with the opening of a shop in Osu, a suburb of Accra.

In a video shared by on November 11 by entertainment blogger, Zion Felix, Poloo is heard saying about her new business, “you’re welcome to Mudarab Ventures, finally opened…”

She goes on to speak about the products that are on sale at the place which includes rice, water and oil as well as customized foods like, wheat and tom brown.

“As a Muslim I cannot sell alcohol,” she is heard stressing before displaying non-alcoholic wines that she has on sale. Her pure honey product is also on display in the shelves of the shop.

In a latter part of the video, she is joined by a young man who says Islamic prayers as a form of dedication of the facility to the hands of Allah.

She reverted to Islam in August 2022 and has since been sharing her experiences. In April this year, she undertook Umrah and shared her experience in an interview with Graphic Showbiz: “I was overwhelmed with joy and relief after seeing the holy sacred Kaaba. In fact, I had goosebumps all over me seeing it and doing the Safah and Marwa,” she is quoted to have said.
