Another Muslim bagged a valedictorian slot at the University of Ghana during a graduation ceremony held on Thursday, February 20, 2025.Jamal Baba graduated with an FGPA of 3.94 bagging a First Class in BSc. Administration (Accounting), he was in the 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 – 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬.
“His journey of excellence began at Kadjebi-Asato Senior High School (KASEC), where he was named Overall Best Student at the school’s 60th Anniversary and later Overall Best Male Student in the Oti Region (2020). At UG, he continued his pursuit of knowledge, co-establishing a study group to promote peer learning and academic collaboration.
“Jamal’s dedication, leadership and passion for learning have brought him this far and we celebrate his outstanding achievement! Congratulations!” a post on the university’s Facebook page read.
