A group of youth development enthusiasts have launched a campaign to raise funds to renovate the basketball court at the Madina (Zurak) Mini Stadium.
In an announcement of the campaign, lawyer Shafic Osman, in a social media post on May 20, 2025, wrote: “Together with other youth development enthusiasts in the Madina community, we are working towards renovating the basketball courts at the Madina (Zurak) Mini Stadium. The basketball court has fallen into disrepair in recent years.
“We want to bring it back to life!”
According to him, campaigners were looking to raise a little over 40,000 cedis for a full overhaul of the facility. According to him, “we will be rolling out a basketball development program for the youth in the community. The first step is to repair the court!”
