Education Minister, Haruna Iddrisu, met with the youngest child of Queen Elizabeth II during a recent visit to London where he attended the Education World Forum.
“I had the opportunity to connect with His Majesty The King’s brother, the Duke of Edinburgh, who is the youngest child of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, at the Education World Forum in London. It was a valuable exchange that highlighted the importance of education and its influence on future generations,” Haruna wrote in a Facebook post dated May 23, 2025.
The forum serves as a crucial platform for enhancing international collaboration and strengthening partnerships in education. This year, the EWF welcomed 124 ministers, a noteworthy increase from the 122 who participated last year.
“I seized the opportunity to engage with numerous donor partners who are making significant contributions to the Ministry of Education, reinforcing our commitment to advancing educational initiatives,” Haruna added.
