Italian giants Atalanta have formally presented new signing Kamaldeen Sulemana to the media and its supporters at a press conference today, July 31, 2025.
The Ghanaian international was signed from Southampton in the English Premier League for a fee that could rise to £18m.
Sources told BBC Sport in early July that the Saints have a sell-on clause in the agreement. The 23-year-old was signed back in 2023 for a club-record fee of £22m and made 74 appearances.
Sulemana is widely seen as a direct replacement for Ademola Lookman should the Nigerian international forward leave Atalanta for Inter Milan this summer.
Atalanta will open their 2025/26 season against Pisa on August 24.
