Sinares, Jamal, Harruna, other ambassadors meet Ablakwa

Two members of the Sinares family were in attendance on July 30, 2025 when Minister for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, met newly appointed ambassadors as they get ready to take their posts.

The two Sinares were Alhaji Said Sinare, ambassador-designate for Saudi Arabia and his sister Kalsoume who is headed to Spain as Ghana’s ambassador.

Other Muslim ambassadors in the meeting were

Alhaji Abdul-Rahman Harruna Attah (Namibia),

Baba Jamal (still checking his destination)

Abdul Nasiru-Deen – Republic of Turkey

“Had a fruitful encounter yesterday with newly appointed Ambassadors and High Commissioners as the Foreign Ministry begins earnest preparations towards formal commencement of their diplomatic duty tours. Congratulations to the esteemed envoys,” the minister wrote in his Facebook post.

“Considering President Mahama’s well considered ambassadorial appointments based on merit, competence, gravitas, track record and love for country — I have no doubt we shall make a great team to advance the President’s foreign policy imperatives in the best interest of our dear country,” he added.
