Adiza Baba-Issah sworn in as NCC governing board member

Adiza Baba-Issah has been sworn in as a member of the National Commission on Culture (NCC) governing board.

The event, presided over by Abla Dzifa Gomashie, the Minister of Tourism, Culture & Creative Arts, was held today (August 4) in Accra.

In a post announcing the development on Facebook, Baba-Issah expressed gratitude to the president of the Republic John Dramani Mahama for her nomination stressing that she would do well to contribute positively in her new role.

“I look forward to contributing my skills and experience to the Board’s important work in promoting and preserving our cultural heritage. Your leadership and vision for the country’s cultural development are truly inspiring, and I am excited to be a part of this endeavor,” she said.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to HE John Dramani Mahama for appointing me to the Governing Board of the National Commission on Culture. I am deeply honored and humbled by the trust and confidence you have placed in me.
A huge thank you to Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, the Minister of Tourism, Culture & Creative Arts, and her hardworking deputy Hon. Yussif Jajah, for their support.
