The family of the late Ayawaso East Member of Parliament, Naser Mahama Toure, has expressed appreciation for the support and condolence they have received since his passing on January 4, 2026.
A January 6 statement from Ismail Abdul Razak, PA of the late MP, posted the statement on Facebook stated in part: “The family is profoundly touched by the prayers, words of comfort, presence, and diverse forms of support received, all of which contributed to the peaceful, dignified, and successful burial accorded our beloved son, brother, and leader.”

APPRECIATION MESSAGE
The family of the late Hon. Naser Mahama Toure, who served as Member of Parliament for the good people of Ayawaso East, wishes to formally express its profound gratitude to Allah (SWT) for His mercy and for granting the family strength, patience, and fortitude during this period of bereavement.
Indeed, “from Allah we come, and to Allah is the return.”
The family is deeply grateful to His Excellency the President of the Republic, John Dramani Mahama, for his compassionate support and leadership in facilitating a smooth, orderly, and dignified process from the time of the passing of Hon. Toure, to his final burial.
We also wish to formally acknowledge and appreciate the leading role played by Hon. Yusif Jajah, whose coordination and oversight ensured the effective observance of all protocols throughout the funeral arrangements.
Our sincere appreciation further goes to Ministers of State, Honourable Members of Parliament, Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs), Traditional Authorities and Chiefs, Imams and Islamic Clerics, as well as party leadership, colleagues, friends, and sympathisers from all walks of life, who stood by the family following his passing on Sunday and throughout his burial on Monday.
