Shamima Muslim, the deputy presidential spokesperson, on Tuesday, May 27 led a press briefing at the Jubilee House in Accra.
The briefing largely centered on the announcement that Ghana is hosting of the AUABC State Party Review Mission, taking place from 1st to 6th June 2025.
“This mission will assess our commitment to the AU Convention on Preventing and Combating Corruption (AUCPCC) and engage key national stakeholders to evaluate progress and strengthen reform efforts,” according to the presidency.
Per our checks at iqratoday, the majority of press briefings have been done by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Minister in charge of government communications and presidential spokesman.
Shamima wrote on her Facebook wall about leading the day’s briefing: “My boss Felix Kwakye Ofosu said, madam go and do the press briefing. So I obeyed.”
